We are commonly asked "when does the class typically finish"?
An Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Full provider class typically lasts for two days, though the exact duration can vary. Each day typically consists of a full day of instruction, which can span approximately eight to ten hours, including breaks for meals and rest. Classes often conclude in the late afternoon or early evening of the second day. This timing allows participants to complete the course material and any associated assessments before wrapping up for the day. The exact finishing time may vary based on factors such as the pace of instruction, the inclusion of practical skills sessions, and any additional administrative tasks that need to be completed before the course concludes. Overall & officially, participants can generally expect the ATLS class to finish around 4:00 PM on the second day at the latest. However, we may finish earlier, depending on the size of the class, instruction, efficiency and your examination.
The refresher class has a more condensed syllabus and typically finishes earlier than the full provider.
The instructor class always takes place on Saturday, finishing around 3pm.
